Palm Pre vs iPhone

You might have heard rumors about phone companies trying to compete with the iPhone. Well, this one is in fact true. On June 6, Palm will be unveiling their US $ 200 (SGD $350) Palm Pre; a touchscreen smartphone with a sliding keyboard that the company claimed as the first device to challenge the iPhone 3G in features and looks.

The phone is expected to be released just 2 days before Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference due to be held at San Francisco.Apple is also due to release their iPhone 3.0 operating system and possibly the next generation of iPhone during the conference.

Personally, I think that iPhone is still the best especially with the upcoming release of its new operating system .Apple is also expecting to release their “new” version of iPhone, which must be something that Apple users must have been anticipating for a very long time.

What makes the iPhone special is the AppStore. It’s never been so easy and convenient for developers to distribute Applications. It is such a huge success that whoever wants to compete needs to set up something similar.

Yea…It is also impossible for them to set up something similar because it will be considered as copyright infringement! How awesome is that! hahaha! Apple FTW!
